[0010] According to the invention, a spinning preparation machine, for example for processing fiber ribbons or a fabric, such as a stirrer, comprises a lap forming device 1.
[0011] The device 1 has an entry zone 2 for the entry of a web W, coming from apparatuses upstream of the device 1, for example from ironing and assembly apparatuses of the stirrer.
[0012] Preferably, the device 1 comprises a feed assembly 4 for receiving the incoming cloth W in an inlet direction IN and the deviation.
[0013] For example, the feeding unit 4 comprises a plurality of guide cylinders, for example a lower cylinder 4a and an upper cylinder 4b, between the side surfaces of which passages are made which define a feeding path for the canvas W.

[0021] Preferably, the carriage comprises centering means provided on the plates 42, to hold the tube in a predefined position relative to said plates; generally, the plates 42 are circular plates and said centering means define a tube axis, coinciding with the central axis of said plates.
[0022] Preferably, moreover, the plates 42 comprise suction means adapted to interact with the tube T supported by the calenders 22, 24 to create a depression on the surface thereof.
[0023] The carriage 41 is therefore suitable for passing from an initial configuration, in which the plates are in a lowered limit position, to a final configuration, in which the plates are translated along the carriage axis Y with respect to the lowered limit position , and occupy a raised limit position.

[0046] Innovatively, the forming device according to the present invention makes it possible to obtain very regular laps in the form, since it allows to obviate the deformation due to the machine stopping.
[0047] In fact, in traditional machines, the stop determines an ovalization of the lap, due to the weight of the lap and the weight of the wagon which remains hanging on the lap itself, supported by the calenders.
[0048] It is clear that a person skilled in the art, in order to satisfy contingent needs, could make modifications to the forming device described above, all contained within the scope of protection as defined by the following claims.

Claims (14)

1. Formation device (1) of a lap (L), consisting of a cloth (W) wound on a tube (T), for a spinning preparation machine, for example a stirrer, comprising:- a primary calender (22) and a secondary calender (24) for supporting the lap (L) in formation;- a carriage (41) provided with plates (42) arranged side by side axially with the calenders, translatable along a carriage axis (Y) to accompany the lap in formation;- load means of the lap suitable to keep the lap in formation in forced contact against the two calenders (22, 24); is- unloading means of the lap suitable for keeping the lap (L) over the calenders (22, 24) suspended during a training stop,in which the loading means and the discharge means comprise double-acting cylinder-piston units (50), each connected to the respective plate (42).

2. Device according to claim 1, wherein the loading means and the unloading means can be activated alternately.

3. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a pneumatic drive circuit (60) for the controlled supply of the cylinder-piston assemblies (50).

4. Device according to claim 3, wherein the actuation circuit (60) comprises a solenoid valve (62) which has two working positions (A, B) and a rest position (C).

5. Device according to any one of the previous claims, comprising management means suitable for operating the loading means and the unloading means and suitable for detecting a machine stop signal during the formation of the lap to deactivate the loading means and activate the means of drain.

6. Device according to claim 5, wherein the management means are adapted to detect a start signal during the formation of the lap and to deactivate the discharge means and activate the loading means.

10. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the carriage comprises centering means on the plates (42) to hold the tube in a predefined position relative to said plates.

11. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the carriage comprises suction means adapted to interact with the tube T supported by the calenders (22, 24) to create a depression on the surface thereof.

12. Formation method on calenders (22, 24) of a lap (L) constituted by a belt (W) wound on a tube (T), comprising, during a halt of the formation, the step of keeping the lap suspended above the calenders by means of cylinder-pressure units.

13. Method according to claim 12, in which, during the formation of the lap, the loading means forcefully keep the lap in contact against the calenders.

14. Method according to claim 13, wherein, once the formation has stopped, the lap is brought back into forced contact against the calenders by the loading means.
